Aloha Mercedes, Henry and staff It’s hard to put into words how much we appreciate all the effort you put into making our trip in Costa Rica the very best. From the time you greeted us at the airport we were treated like royalty! Henry was a great driver. We were amazed that he would be our driver throughout the whole trip. It was very comforting to know that he was coming to take us to our next destination. He was always very prompt, courteous and professional. It all comes down to the fact that you made us feel like your friends and we hope to see you (friend) again soon. Mercedes, I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful experience it was to visit Costa Rica and I wanted to thank you for your excellent choices of hotels conveniently located in the best spots. The convenient airport transfers alleviated much of the usual airport hassles and the intra-country transfers by Transtobella were efficient, comfortable, and allowed for great sight-seeing from their big window vans. Since you are travelling on vacations to a tropical country, our recommendation is to travel light and mostly informal, and with the expectation of a sudden change of weather.
Check your personal items twice, like passport (plus any other migratory documents if needed), another ID with photo, driver’s license, credit cards, some cash, airline ticket and any medication you will need.
Jeans, shorts and light pants
T-shirts, fresh blouses or tank tops, light dresses or skirts
Comfortable shoes, tennis shoes, sandals, flip flops and cotton socks
Underwear and fresh sleepwear
Light sweater or jacket for the evenings
Swimming suit
One or two casual suits to go to a fine restaurant or special activity
Hat and sunglasses
Raincoat
Any prescription medicine you may need and the prescription if you need to buy it in Costa Rica
Any other medicine that does not need a prescription, and you consider necessary for your trip

Calculator, notebook and pen
A belt or special wallet to secure your money and personal documents
You can find wet towels, moisturizing creams, sun block lotions and lip moisturizing creams in stores and drugstores around the country. Consider this information if you do not want to pack too many things.
