Hidden away among the lush tropical gardens, our free-form swimming pool is the best way to cool off after a day full of activities or simply lie back, sun bathe or enjoy the relaxing natural surrounding. The shady “Quincho” style rancho off to one side of the pool is perfect for lounging around in or, at sunset before sitting down for a candle light dinner, refresh yourself while enjoying a tropical cocktail enhanced by jungle sounds and falling water from the sculpted waterfall connecting the jacuzzi.
Designed and crafted in a unique style that blends traditional materials, exotic woods and thatched-palm roofs, with a modern building concept, each bungalow has a particular atmosphere. Each one comfortably lodge up to four people, with one queen size bed and two twin size beds, one of them placed in the mezzanine to provide privacy and wonderful spatial flexibility. All decorated with bamboo lamps and furniture, while ceiling fans, large windows with mosquito nets and high peaked roofs allow a refreshing natural air circulation. Each bungalow comes with minibar, security box and a softly lit original sauna-style bathroom that allows you to enjoy a shower while admiring the natural surroundings. Its own private deck and hammock out front, invites to relax and enjoy the colourful tropical gardens of the surroundings covered with bromeliads, heliconias, gingers, palms and tropical fruit trees, which interact with a great variety of birds and butterflies, as well as to listen to the different sounds of the jungle or just lie under a bright moonlight and sparkling stars.
Almendros y Corales
Located in the heart of the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge is a delightful relaxing place with the magic touch of Nature; a unique idea for accommodation. This is a rare opportunity to get a feeling for the jungle, living in the wild while maintaining a level of luxury. Each tent lies under giant trees in a forest so dense that the sunrays hardly touch the ground. Each tent is placed over a platform lifted up on stilts and orchids hang from the branches and like in a fairy tale, as you walk through the enchanted forest, by passages on stilts, suddenly you are in front of the magnificent Caribbean with your feet on golden sand, coconuts and the bay of Manzanillo where you can almost hear the rhythm of Calypso.
It is the normal room of Almonds and Corals Lodge with new furniture, It has the unquestionable seal of a tent since 1993; the Bungalow has a size of 25 square meters. It has two twin beds 1, 20 meters each one, two side tables, two electric lamps, one hammock, one sofa bed, a cloth hanger, full body mirror, a fan, a bathroom with hot water, hair dryer, shampoo, rinse and environmental perfume. The new beds are done in precious wood and they have new mattress and new clothes of bed. Place a tent up on stilts on a wooden platform. Protect the platform with a roof and drape it with mosquito netting. Put electricity night lamps, a fan, 2 beds, a hammock, and a small table with two chairs, a mini--bar, jungle view and a bathroom by the tent with hair dryer and hot water. Add a gold sand beach, a restaurant incrustrated in the jungle with excellent meals, a bar, a marvellous staff , a Jacuzzi in the heart of the rainforest and ........ …camping might not be so rustic after all.
Cariblue Hotel
Cariblue Hotel is a small bed and breakfast style resort in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Limon, Costa Rica, on the beautiful sand beach of Playa Cocles. Cariblue has 16 rooms and boungalows, a restaurant, a bar and a beautiful new pool and spa.
Our spacious rooms are in palm-thatched duplex bungalows, with private bathrooms decorated in mosaic, hot water, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, and inviting porches with hammocks.

The hotel offers 4 two-story villas with fully-equipped kitchens and private terraces which accommodate up to six people comfortably and are bright, fresh and clean. Besides the villas, the hotel has 8 junior villas with kitchenette, one king size bed and one sofa-bed plus an ample terrace facing the beach. Also Villas del Caribe offers 8 standard rooms each with one king size bed and one sofa-bed plus a balcony facing the ocean. All units have private bathrooms and are nestled within modern Caribbean style buildings which face the sea catching the prevailing breezes for effective cross ventilation. The architecture of the CNS Ecolodge is inspired by the ingenuous pre-Columbian construction techniques of the region, used by natives for more than 1000 years. The round palenques (or ranchos) are covered with a traditional thatched roof of palm leaves. The Ecolodge consists of four palenques structures; there guest units of eight rooms each, and one central building with lobby, restaurant, bar, coffee gourmet bar, photo gallery, administration, gift shop and conference centre. With a harmonious décor of earth tones, natural limestone, and antique or artisan-made furniture, guest will enjoy comfortable beds, private bathroom, ceiling fans and cross-ventilation system, phone and internet connection.
